    Chiodini Kennel & Rescue (CKR) is now offering rescue dog boarding (By Appointment Only) to Rescue Groups at a discounted price of $8 a day for dogs fewer than 50#, my insurance does not allow for Pitty/Rottie types.  We include the food we feed, treats, donated groomings, lots of extra benefits.  Dogs over 20# must be short coated.  Flea treatments are extra.  (Regular boarding fees $12 a day for dogs fewer than 20# & $15 a day for dogs over 20#)

    CKR is a state licensed ~ in home ~ boarding kennel.  Dogs stay in either the giant size or extra large size crates & I juggle dogs around all day to make sure everyone gets lots of outside time, personal attention, recovery care for sick or injured rescues & of course lots & lots of love.  Dogs that are trusted to come to me can enjoy almost 1 acre of 4' high, great condition, chain link fenced yard, which has locks on the gates & has been small dog proofed.

    Another bonus is I work on the dogs' crate training, housebreaking, basic house manners, good pack manners & can give you a good evaluation of the dog.  As well as, I take pretty good pictures for web site posting.  All photos on this page are done by my husband or I & I do the photo refinishing. 

    We like for dogs to be wearing a good collar & ID tag & I will use one of mine own, if necessary, while dog is in my care.  We cannot be held responsible for dogs that are fence jumpers/climbers or dogs that want to dig out.  If a dog proves to be too difficult for me, they will be asked to leave as soon as possible.

   I can act as a volunteer for your Rescue Group if a home is found & it is more convenient for the adoption to be done from my home. I shall include a free grooming so the dog can be clean & pretty for the adopter.  I will NOT let any dogs be adopted from my home that are not spayed/neutered first.  I do NOT do any transporting other than emergency Vet care. I will only show dogs to adopters that have been approved first so as not to waste my time.

    Your spot is your spot unless you give it up, I do not kick rescued dogs out for the holidays.  I decided to do this because I also am a rescuer & I know how hard it is to find places that will give rescues a discount.  I hope to offer you a more reasonable price with better care for your dogs.  I have a great reputation & can provide references upon request.  I reserve the right to refuse any dog.

   I, Nadia Chiodini have a lifetime of experience working with dogs of all sizes & breeds.  I am a Certified Trainer since 1984, Certified Pet Stylist/Groomer for since 1991, specializing in hand scissor hair cuts, professional AKC trims & smooth shave downs.  And a Dog Rescuer since 2000.  And I always continue to study animal behavior & training, new grooming techniques & a practitioner of dog massage therapy. Grooming is available for dogs under 20#.

My Passion Is Dogs

    We also work with rescued dogs, dogs that have been dumped, abandoned, sometimes abused, so we do know how important it is to keep a dog mentally, as well as physically happy.  We work hard to keep each & every dog happy, to make them feel safe, secure & very much loved.

    Baby CattleMutt abandoned at birth, rolled down into a dry creek bed & left to die.

    He was brought to us.  We nursed

& bottle fed him back to great health. 

   We named him Amazing Elias because we felt it was quite amazing he lived.

My sunshine doesn't come from the skies

It comes from the look in all my dogs' eyes

    Amazing Elias full grown & weighing 98# with his baby brother Isaac.  Isaac's Mommy came into our rescue pregnant & 3 days later gave birth to 8 puppies on Easter Day. We adopted Isaac for ourselves.

    So you can see we are great nurturers, we care about all dogs in the same way, with patience & tender loving care.
